Hall of Fame: Jones-Drew a modern-era nominee


The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced their preliminary ballot for the 2020 class and former Jacksonville Jaguars running back and three-time Pro Bowler Maurice Jones-Drew earned a spot!

In his first year of eligibility, client Maurice Jones-Drew joins as a candidate of the 2020 Class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Maurice was a pioneer for running backs during his time with the Jaguars with the ability to keep the team watchable all by himself, which really is what made him a special franchise player. He propelled the Jaguars to the NFL main stage with career totals that include 1,847 rushes for 8,167 yards and 68 touchdowns, 346 receptions for 2,944 yards and 11 touchdowns. A three-time Pro Bowl selection, earning the honor three straight years from 2009-11, Maurice is the only player in Jaguars history with at least 1,300 rushing yards in three consecutive seasons.
